Since joining the University of Windsor in the Winter of 2006, Mallika has been at the forefront of many initiatives of V.I.S.A. She became a member of the Executive committee in the Summer of 2006, and was appointed Assistant Coordinator in the same semester. She was appointed Coordinator in Summer 2007.
Mallika is a tireless advocate of diversity issues on campus and has won the prestigious Alumni Spirit of V.I.S.A. award for 2008 and 2007. She has also won numerous other honors on campus such as the Ron Ianni Student of the Year award for 2008 and the Joanna Chan Leadership Excellence Award for 2007 and 2008.
In what little spare time she has, Mallika’s passions include Coldplay, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden and many other Rock groups. She also enjoys spending time writing poetry and singing. Mallika calls Bangalore, India as her hometown and considers the International Student Centre as her second home where she can be found at most times during the week. Mallika is in her final year in the Psychology (Honors) program.

Lulua Mala is the Assistant Coordinator for V.I.S.A. the year of 2008-2009. She took up this position in the Summer of 2008, after being the Executive for Publications during the preceding academic year of 2007-2008. She is currently in her first year of study as a Psychology (honors) major.
During her time as Executive for Publications, she oversaw the the highly successful V.I.S.A. semester newsletters for the Winter and Fall of that year. For her efforts, Lulua won the prestigious Outstanding Service Excellence Award at the Volunteer Recognition Awards for 2007-2008.
In addition to V.I.S.A. Lulua has also been a member of Walk Safe & the Odette Toastmasters Club as well. During her down time she likes to listen to U2, Bon Jovi, Norah Jones, Oasis & Celine Dion. An avid reader, Lulua cites Dan Brown as one her favorite authors and she is also a die hard fan of the sitcom ‘Friends’.
